It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear comrade and friend, Mick Cantwell. Mick was a proud and valued member of Ceol Gan Eagla from the very beginning. His kindness, friendship, humour, and love of music helped shape the spirit of our group and left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing and playing with him. Through the years, Mick shared not only his talent and passion, but also his warmth and generosity. He will be remembered fondly for the joy he brought to rehearsals, performances, and gatherings, and for the friendships he built within our community. Mick’s passing leaves a great void in the hearts of all at Ceol Gan Eagla, but his memory and spirit will live on through the music and companionship he helped create. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Mick’s family, friends, and loved ones at this difficult time.
